Owen Memorial Rose Garden: is one of Eugene’s two major flower parks*, Hendricks Park* being the second, and both are indescribably beautiful when the flowers are in bloom. The Rose Garden has over 4500 roses and innumerable other flowers. While beautiful to look at, the aromas are even better. Located to the west of the Washington Jefferson Street Bridge, it’s not part of Skinner’s Butte Park, per se, but it is without doubt of equal beauty, and also without doubt, worth experiencing.
